Coke gemstone is a high-quality hard refractory clay. The standard coke raw ore has an Al2O3 content of 38%. After calcination, the Al2O3 content is about 44%, and Fe2O3<2%. The composition is stable, the texture is uniform, the structure is dense, and the section is shell-shaped and white. It is used to produce high-quality clay refractory materials. The technical term is first-grade hard clay clinker, the main chemical components are AL2O3 and SiO2, accompanied by a small amount of Fe2O3 and trace amounts of Na2O and K2O. The main mineral is kaolin.
Product Nature:
It has heat resistance and sinterability. Scorched gemstones are a mixture of multiple aluminosilicates. The main chemical components are Al2O3 and SiO2 two oxides, and the impurities are mainly alkali, alkaline earth, iron, titanium and other oxides, as well as some organic matter. Various oxides play a fluxing role, which will reduce the refractoriness of raw materials. Therefore, the lower the content of impurities in the product, especially the Na2O+K2O content, the higher the refractoriness. And the closer the Al2O3/3SiO2 ratio is to the theoretical value (A/S=0.85), the higher the purity. The larger the A/S, the higher the refractoriness and the wider the sintering melting range. Refractoriness of high-quality products can reach above 1750℃.
After being calcined at high temperature, this product has the characteristics of stable volume, high strength and low water absorption. The indicators to measure the degree of sintering of the product generally include true specific gravity, bulk density, porosity, water absorption, and shrinkage rate. The water absorption rate of products with good sintering degree is less than 5%, and the bulk density is greater than 2.55g/cm3.
Product Origin:
Mainly Shandong. Especially in Zibo, Shandong, the quality is better, and its products have good whiteness and luminosity, and are magnetic. Shandong Huaxing Group, King Kong shares are typical representatives.
Product Usage
Used in the production of advanced refractory materials, ceramics, aluminum silicate refractory fiber production and military industry.
Specifications and inspection indicators
The chemical composition of scorched gemstones is relatively stable, and the export grades are generally:
(1) Al2O3: not less than 44%; Fe2O3: not more than 1.5%; B.D.: not less than 2.45g/cm3;
(2) Al2O3: not less than 45%; Fe2O3: not more than 1.2%; B.D.: not less than 2.50g/cm3;
(3) Al2O3: not less than 46%; Fe2O3: not more than 1.2%; B.D.: not less than 2.55～2.58g/cm3;
Another: K2O+Na2O+CaO+MgO: 0.5～1.0% or less.
Precautions
The quality of this product is relatively stable. There should be room when signing external contracts. Do not sign clauses that exceed the actual grade for individual indicators to avoid losses. In addition, because this product often requires whiteness, coal and other impurities should be prevented from pollution during transportation, processing and storage.
