White or light yellow powder, odorless, relative density 1.66～1.70. The chlorine content is 70%. The softening point is 95~120~C. The refractive index is 1.540～1.580. It has good chemical stability and does not react with water, oxidants and dilute lye at room temperature. The stability to light and heat is poor. When the temperature exceeds 150°C, the stability begins to decrease gradually.
