Introduction to Robinia
Leaf tree, 10-25 meters high; bark gray-brown to dark brown, shallow to deep longitudinally, thin and smooth. Branchlets gray-brown, ridged when young, slightly hairy, posterior glabrous; with stipules, up to 2 cm long; winter buds are small and hairy. The pinnate compound leaves are 10~25 (~40) cm long; the leaf shafts are covered with grooves; the leaflets are 2~12 pairs, often opposite, oval, oblong or oval, 2~5 cm long and 1.5~ wide. 2.2 cm, apex round, slightly concave, with small pointed head, base round to broad wedge, whole, top green, bottom gray-green, pubescent when young, then glabrous; petiole 1~3 mm long; Small stipules needle-shaped.
Temperate tree species. It grows well in places where the annual average temperature is 8°C~l4°C and the annual rainfall is 500~900mm; especially in coastal areas where the air humidity is relatively high, it grows fast and the dry shape is straight and perfect. The resistance to wind is poor, and the black locust planted at the vent is prone to wind break, wind fall, tilt or partial crown.
