Applying on May 30, 1928 in the United Kingdom and the United States, Drew developed a very light, one-touch adhesive, and later improved to invent the transparent tape.
The tape is based on the original film of BOPP. After high-pressure corona, the surface is roughened and then coated with glue. After being divided into small rolls, it is the tape we use daily. Adhesive tape glue is acrylic glue, also known as pressure sensitive adhesive, the main component is tincture fat. Tincture fat is a kind of macromolecular active substance. The temperature has a certain effect on molecular activity. The tincture content of the glue directly affects the use of tape. The initial adhesion of normal sealing tape is between ≥13 (steel ball number). The thickness of this tape glue is generally 22 microns, which is a standard thickness.
The colored tape is used for marking and masking purposes, and it is generally beige and earthy. The color of the colored tape is the color of the glue.
Tighten the transparent adhesive tape and then quickly pull it away, you can pull off the glue on one side, and you can see the purity and transparency of the original film.
