⑴ Must meet the process parameters such as flow, head, pressure, temperature, cavitation surplus and other process parameters.
⑵ Must meet the requirements of medium characteristics:
① Pumps that transport flammable, explosive, toxic or precious media require reliable shaft seals or non-leakage pumps, such as canned pumps. Magnetic drive pump, diaphragm pump, etc.
② For pumps that transport corrosive media, corrosion-resistant materials are required for the overcurrent parts.
③ For pumps that transport solid particles, wear-resistant materials are required for the flow-through components, and the shaft seal should be flushed with clean liquid if necessary.
⑶ Must meet the installation requirements on site.
① For pumps installed in the presence of corrosive gases, measures to prevent atmospheric corrosion are required.
②For pumps installed in outdoor environment with temperature below -20 ℃, it is required to consider the cold and brittle phenomenon of the pump and use low temperature resistant materials.
③ For pumps installed in explosion areas, explosion-proof motors should be used according to the explosion area rating.
⑷ For factories requiring annual major maintenance, the continuous running period of the pump should not be less than 8000 hours. In order to meet the requirements of a 3-year overhaul, API610 (8th edition) stipulates that the continuous operation cycle of pumps for the petroleum, heavy chemical and gas industries is at least 3 years.
⑸ The design life of the pump is generally at least 10 years. API610 (8th edition) stipulates that the design life of centrifugal pumps for the petroleum, heavy chemical and gas industries is generally at least 20 years.
⑹ The design, manufacture and inspection of the pump should meet the requirements of relevant standards and specifications. Commonly used standards and specifications are shown in Table 1-3.
⑺ The pump factory should ensure the performance of the pump within the range of power supply voltage and frequency. The range of power supply voltage and frequency in China is:
Voltage 380V ± 10%, 6000V + 5%, -7%
Frequency 50Hz ± 5%
⑻ When determining the pump model and manufacturer, the performance, energy consumption, reliability, price and manufacturing specifications of the pump should be taken into consideration.
