General process
The raw grain is first cleaned by the cylinder, and then removed by the reciprocating vibrating screen, high-speed vibrating screen, specific gravity stone remover and magnetic separation equipment (see grain cleaning machinery) to remove various impurities, then enter the hulling machine to remove and separate the rice shell. The discharged grain and brown mixture is sent to the grain separator. In China, the main development of the flat rotary grain separator is to use the difference in particle size, specific gravity, friction coefficient and elasticity of rice and brown rice to separate the unhulled rice and return it to the hulling machine; brown rice is used for rice milling Machine milled into white rice. After finishing the finished product, the broken rice bran is removed to obtain the finished white rice. Rice mills are commonly used in rural China to directly process rice into white rice, but the rice yield rate is low and there are more broken rice. The process flow of rice milling and the main equipment used are shown in the figure. The process of wheat processing is to remove all kinds of impurities and dirt adhering to the surface of the wheat grains after the raw grain is initially cleaned by the primary cleaning screen. After cleaning, the clean wheat is removed by magnetic separation equipment and then enters the mill to grind into powder. After sieving through a flat sieve, the flour is extracted. The intermediate material enters another mill to grind, and the flour is extracted repeatedly. The bran is discharged after being processed by a bran brushing machine and a round sieve. When making special or high-quality flour, a powder cleaner is also used to separate pure and relatively pure endosperm particles from the intermediate material discharged from the mill and flat screen, and further grind them into special and high-quality flour.
