There are many types of surface treatment processes for precision bright tubes, all of which are provided to improve the performance of precision bright tubes. This article mainly introduces the three common surface treatment processes of precision bright tube: passivation, pickling, degreasing and degreasing.
1. Passivation of precision bright tube
The surface recommended for this process must be iron-free. The presence of precision bright tube particles on the surface of any iron, cast iron, low carbon steel, medium carbon steel or low alloy steel will promote the pitting corrosion of the "free" iron on the surface and the precision bright tube. This is a very serious problem, so passivation is only used to process precision bright tubes and stainless iron. The main purpose of the precision bright tube passivation is to prevent the surface of the precision bright tube from being oxidized and corroded.
2. Pickling of precision bright tube
The purpose of the pickling treatment of the precision bright tube is to remove the oxide scale on the surface of the precision bright tube after high temperature welding, heat treatment or thermal processing. At the same time, it can also eliminate red rust corroded steel or iron or steel particle pollutants. Please note that if there is no acid to clean the surface after pickling, the surface will soon begin to rust and corrode. As a result, the corrosion resistance of the underlying steel surface layer is reduced.
The precision bright tube pickling process can be applied to the surface treatment of all 200, 300, and 400 series precision bright tubes. All pickling operations result in a slight size change on the metal surface while removing impurities. Therefore, the result is that to a certain extent a matt visual brightness may also be a significant reduction in size.
Heat treatment in a vacuum or a well-controlled atmosphere, such as bright annealing, eliminates the need for pickling, and usually makes the precision bright tube get a better finish.
3. Degreasing and degreasing of precision bright tube cleaning agent
Precision bright tube surface treatment The pre-treatment of any process must first remove grease, cutting fluid, painting compounds and other lubricants, etc., and then the surface heat treatment or final passivation treatment of precision bright tube parts can be carried out. Precise bright pipe fittings must be further welded before degreasing treatment to prevent the pickup from carbon at high temperatures.
Under normal circumstances, the precision bright tube cleaning agent (No. CA-Q03) is used. It only needs to soak at room temperature for 1-8 minutes to remove any oil. The operation is simple, the labor intensity is low, and it can be recycled repeatedly, effectively reducing production costs. With other metal cleaning operations, the cleaning rate can be increased by using brushing, spraying or stirring during operations.
In addition to the above processes, there are: electroplating, anodizing, sandblasting, painting, passivation, pickling, degreasing, rust removal, etc.
