Sophora japonica is a native tree species with a long history of cultivation in my country, and it is also an excellent tree species for urban and rural greening. Due to the slow growth of the seedling stage of P. pseudoacacia and the longer period of cultivating large seedlings, the large seedlings of P. pseudoacacia are in short supply. Using nutrient bowls to raise seedlings and increase the row spacing to cultivate large seedlings of Chinese Sophora japonica has better performance. The specific technology is as follows:
Choose a neutral sandy loam with fertile soil and convenient irrigation and drainage as the nursery for land selection and preparation. When preparing the ground, apply foot fertilizer. Generally, 50 kg of farmyard manure, phosphate fertilizer, and cake fertilizer are applied per acre, and 0.75 to 1.25 kg of 30% carbofuran is used for soil treatment.
Soak the seeds in early March, put the seeds in warm water at 80°C, and stir them until the water temperature drops to 40°C. Then remove impurities and continue to soak for 2 to 3 days. When soaking, pay attention to changing the warm water at 30℃ twice a day.
For the nutrient bowl nursery, choose a place with a flat terrain, good drainage and leeward wind, and dig a pond with a width of 1 to 1.5 meters and a depth of 30 to 40 cm as a seedbed. Use sandy loam soil plus sieved farmyard manure as nutrient soil, and use cotton pots to make bowls. Place the nutrition bowl in the bed and sprinkle water evenly. Then, put 2 to 3 seeds in each pot, sprinkle 1 cm thick moist fine soil on the top, cover it with a plastic film arc, control the temperature in the bed below 40 ℃, and keep the bed surface moist. When the height of the seedlings is 15-20 cm, the seedlings are tempered for 3-5 days, and then they can be transplanted in the field.
