1. Artificial drying: Seal the wood in the vapor drying chamber, promote the evaporation of water by vapor, and make the wood dry. However, after evaporation at high temperature, the wood becomes brittle and loses its toughness, which is easy to be damaged and is not conducive to sculpture. Generally speaking, the drying degree of logs should be kept at about 30% moisture content.

2. Natural drying: Put the wood in the ventilation place (board, square or log) and stack it. The bottom of the stack is about 60 cm away from the ground. There is a gap in the middle to make the air circulate, take away the water, and the wood dries gradually. Natural drying usually takes years or months to meet certain drying requirements.

3. Simple manual drying: First, drying wood moisture by fire. The second is to boil the resin in the wood and then dry or dry it in the air. The drying time of these two methods may be shortened, but the wood after water invasion is easy to discolor and damage the wood quality.
