In the early stage of product research, marketing, R&D and design personnel went deep into the front line of product use to truly understand the use needs of front-line operators. Finally, relying on multi-faceted and all-round market research, in April this year, the research and development categories of electric sanitation vehicles and electric special vehicles were determined, and three research and development projects of electric sweepers, electric garbage trucks, and electric sweepers were established in May. Team, the project codes are HQ20, HL05, HQ02. Among them, the HQ20 electric sweeper project is based on the HQ03 electric sweeper technology platform, highlighting high-end and intelligent positioning, and the entire vehicle architecture meets the design requirements of the company's planned unmanned sweeper. The HL05 electric garbage truck project and the HQ02 electric sweeper project are brand new products developed by the company based on market research results.
At the beginning of September, each project team held the first project report and review meeting to determine the product's functional requirements, performance parameters, quality standards, appearance parameters, product positioning and other content. After another month of design and optimization, this meeting mainly reviewed the technical points and the first version data of the three projects of the HQ20 electric sweeper, HL05 electric garbage truck and HQ02 electric sweeper. At the meeting, each project leader will report on the completion of the project, and the participants will review the project data based on the results of the report, and propose existing problems and improvement directions. In addition, according to the progress of each project, it is preliminarily planned that each project will complete the first version of the data freeze at the end of October, and complete the prototype trial production before the end of the year.
At the end of the meeting, the general manager made a three-point summary of the content of the meeting and the problems that occurred during the review: First, we must adhere to the policy as the guide, closely follow the policy direction, and plan accurately to ensure that the project is implemented. At the executive meeting of the State Council on September 29, 2020, Premier Li Keqiang pointed out that it is necessary to increase policy support for the use of new energy vehicles in the public service sector. The company vigorously develops electric sanitation vehicle projects, which fully meets the policy requirements; second, it is market-oriented. The marketing department and technical personnel are required to cooperate closely to confirm the research direction after conducting full market research. At the same time, actively avoid the shortcomings of existing products in the market during the design process and reduce the burden for later maintenance services; the third is to use products as the core. In the process of product development, technicians should cultivate innovative thinking, improve innovation capabilities, and increase model highlights in terms of electrification, intelligence, and practicability, so as to improve the market competitiveness of models.
