1. Different carbon content
1. The carbon content of high-purity graphite is >99.99%, and the content of ash and impurities are very low, generally not exceeding 0.001%.
2. The carbon content of ordinary graphitized materials is >99%, and the content of ash and impurities is generally about 0.5%.
Two, the production process is different
1. The production of high-purity graphite usually adopts high-temperature purification graphitization process.
2. The production of ordinary graphitized materials adopts conventional graphitization process.
Three, different uses
1. High-purity graphite has the advantages of high strength, good thermal shock resistance, high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, small resistivity, corrosion resistance, and easy precision machining. It is an ideal inorganic non-metallic material. Used for processing and manufacturing electric heating elements, structural casting molds, crucible boats for smelting high-purity metals, heaters for single crystal furnaces, graphite for EDM, sintering molds, electron tube anodes, metal coating, graphite crucibles for semiconductor technology, Graphite anodes and grids for emission electron tubes, thyratrons and mercury arc rectifiers.
2. Ordinary graphitized materials play an important role in sealing, temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, heat preservation, compression resistance, wear resistance, and oxidation resistance in a wide range of fields.
