1. According to usage and performance, it is divided into:
(1) Special cement: Cement for special purposes. Such as: G grade oil well cement, road portland cement;
(2) Characteristic cement: A certain kind of cement with outstanding performance. Such as: fast hardening Portland cement, low-heat slag Portland cement, expanded sulphoaluminate cement, phosphoaluminate cement and phosphate cement;
(3) General-purpose cement: cement commonly used in general civil engineering. General-purpose cement mainly refers to: the six major types of cement specified in GB175-2007, namely Portland cement, ordinary Portland cement, slag Portland cement, pozzolanic Portland cement, fly ash Portland cement and composite Portland cement.
2. According to the names of main hydraulic substances:
(1) Portland cement, which is commonly called Portland cement abroad;
(2) Aluminate cement;
(3) Sulphoaluminate cement;
(4) Iron aluminate cement;
(5) Fluoroaluminate cement;
(6) Phosphate cement;
(7) Cement with pozzolan or latent hydraulic materials and other active materials as the main components.
3. According to the main technical characteristics:
(1) Heat of hydration: divided into two types: medium heat and low heat;
(2) Quick hardening (hydraulic hardening): divided into two types: quick hardening and super hard hardening;
(3) Expansibility: Divided into two types: expansion and self-stress;
(4) Sulfate resistance: It can be divided into two categories: medium sulfate corrosion resistance and high sulfate corrosion resistance;
(5) High temperature resistance: The high temperature resistance of aluminate cement is classified according to the alumina content in the cement.
Cement is an important building material. Mortar or concrete made of cement is strong and durable, and is widely used in civil engineering, water conservancy, national defense and other projects. Do a good job of cement classification, so that we can better choose suitable cement types.
