Loosen the wire at the top of the volleyball pole, hang up the volleyball net and tighten the wire. Fix the volleyball pole. Adjust the height of the volleyball net according to the match. Each side of the volleyball net is connected with a 1.80-meter-long marker pole. The height of the net is 2.24 meters for women and 2.43 meters for men.
Volleyball venues include competition area and barrier-free area. The competition area is a rectangle of 18 meters x 9 meters. The stadium is divided into two equal areas by the midline. The midline is equipped with a black net of 9.50 meters long and 1 meter wide. The net is set above the midline at a height of 2.43 meters for men and 2.24 meters for women. The net is black, 1 m wide and 10 cm in diameter. There are two white bands 5 cm wide and 1 m long on the net, which are tied to the ends of the net and perpendicular to the side line. The marker pole is two tough poles, 1.80 meters long and 10mm in diameter, made of glass fiber or similar materials. The two marker poles are arranged on different sides of the ball net along the outer edge of the marker belt.
The barrier-free area outside the edge of the World Volleyball Federation's major competition venue is at least 5 meters wide and 8 meters wide. The barrier-free space over the competition venue is at least 12.5 meters high from the ground. The ground of the competition venue is light-colored and consists of wood or synthetic materials. The competition area and barrier-free area are divided into two different colors. All the boundaries in the area are white and 5 cm wide.
