The upper edge of the net should be sewn with 75 wide double-layer white cloth (folded). It is passed through the sandwich with fine wire rope or nylon rope, and is firmly stretched between the two net posts. The standard net should be yellow-brown or grass-green. The height of the net pillars is 1.55 meters. In both singles and doubles, the two net pillars should stand at the midpoint of the side line of the doubles venue. In a formal match, the upper edge of the net must be 1.524 meters above the ground and the two ends of the net must be 1.55 meters above the ground. The ends of the net must be tightly tied to the net posts, and there should be no gap between them.
The badminton court is a rectangular court, 13.40 meters long, 6.10 meters wide for doubles and 5.18 meters wide for singles. The width of each line on the court is 4 centimeters, which should be measured from the outer edge of the line. Course boundaries are best drawn in white, yellow or other easily recognizable colors.
According to international competition regulations, the minimum space over the whole stadium is 9 meters. No crossbeams or other obstacles are allowed within this altitude, and no obstacles are allowed within 2 meters of the stadium. There should be a minimum distance of 2 meters between any two parallel courses. The walls around the stadium should be dark and not windy.
