1. Glass wool: It is processed with glass and quartz sand as the main raw materials and then mixed with various auxiliary materials in proportion. The thermal conductivity is generally 0.045~0.055 (w/m.k). The density is 30~120kg/M3, and the mass is heavier. With high water absorption rate, rain cannot be used for construction, which can cause itching of personnel and increase the construction price. Workers need to take protective measures. The service life effect has a great relationship with roofing materials and waterproofing. If the bottom layer is not padded with bottom materials, it may fall off and become weathered after 5 to 8 years. It is used in delivery rooms and nursery houses. Because the humidity is maintained at 60-75% throughout the year, washing the pens and the pressure of the high-pressure water gun will damage the glass wool, which will increase the water absorption rate and reduce the heat preservation effect.
2. Rock wool: The fire resistance, thermal conductivity, water absorption, density, service life and effect of rock wool are roughly the same as those of glass wool. For details, please refer to glass wool, without introducing it.
3. Polystyrene: Polystyrene foam is divided into two types: expandable EPS and continuous extrusion XPS.
Polystyrene foam board, also known as polystyrene board or EPS board, is a white object made of expandable polystyrene beads containing a volatile liquid foaming agent, which is pre-heated and heated in a mold. The thermal conductivity is 0.035~0.050 (w/m.k). Combustion performance B2, B3. Because of the low price, pig farms and other livestock and poultry breeding are widely used, welding construction, cutting, flame disinfection, and short circuit spontaneous combustion can cause fire. Polystyrene will burn when its ignition temperature is as low as 350-370°C.
Styrofoam can easily cause accidents when it catches fire. Styrofoam contacts with external heat sources to increase heat. Since polystyrene plastic has better thermal insulation, it is easy to make its temperature rise rapidly. When the decomposition temperature is reached, the plastic will decompose or degrade and volatilize, producing flammable gas. These gases react chemically with oxygen in the air to a relatively violent degree, causing combustion. The heat generated in the combustion process is transferred to the adjacent styrofoam to repeat the above process, so as to promote the decomposition of the styrofoam, and the cycle continues until the foam is burned out. Polystyrene heats up quickly, the flame spreads easily, and the heat release rate is high, which is easy to promote the spread of fire. And some materials are accompanied by dripping, shrinking, or even flowing, and there are fire sources everywhere, which is extremely difficult to put out.
Due to the addition of various additives including flame retardants during the processing of polystyrene foam, polystyrene foam is mostly non-combustible when it burns. This non-combustion appears to be very thick and dark in the fire. Smoke, this dense smoke contains a lot of toxic gases such as carbon monoxide and styrene. As well as a large amount of carbon particle smoke and dust, these smoke and dust will directly cause mechanical obstruction of the respiratory tract after being inhaled by the human body, reducing the effective breathing area of the lungs of humans and animals. In addition, the heat radiation and flame burns to humans and animals in the fire, panic psychology, Accelerated breathing, large amounts of black smoke that cannot identify escape exits, the comprehensive effects of a variety of harmful gases on the human body, hypoxia and other factors, it is inevitable that people and animals will lose their lives in a fire. In the high temperature flame around 1300℃~1500℃, if the steel structure is not fireproofed, the strength will decrease, and it will collapse within 10-30 minutes. It can be seen that once the burning of polystyrene occurs, people will escape in a relatively short period of time when the concentration of the combustion products has not reached enough to die, otherwise the consequences will be disastrous.
The density is 15-30kg/m3, and the mass is lighter. The critical value of the operating temperature is about -30℃ and 75℃. In summer, the shrinkage rate of polystyrene material can reach 4%~5% in the high temperature environment of 70℃. For example, roof metal materials are rusty and corroded, coupled with weathering shrinkage, rainwater leakage, and a large amount of air leakage under negative pressure, which will cause a series of effects on pigs and lose its effect.
