[4] In 2018, China's corn output was 257.33 million tons.
As of October 2020, the highest average price of spot corn has exceeded 2,600 yuan/ton, a record high in the past four years. The price of corn starch rose to about 2,900 yuan per ton, an increase of more than 30%.
