2、 Prevent volatilization. Since most pesticides are volatile, sealing measures should be taken to avoid volatilization, reduce efficacy, pollute the environment and endanger human health.
3、 Prevent misuse. Pesticides should be placed in one place and marked. If the bottled pesticides are broken, the packaging should be changed and labeled to prevent misuse.
4、 Prevent failure. Powder pesticides shall be placed in a dry place to prevent failure due to moisture and caking.
5、 Prevent poisoning. Pesticides cannot be stored in the same room as grain and oil, beans, seeds, vegetables, food and animal feed. Pay special attention not to put them in a place accessible to children.
6、 Prevent deterioration. Pesticides should be stored by category. According to chemical composition, pesticides can be divided into three categories: acidic, alkaline and neutral. These three kinds of pesticides should be stored separately and not too close to prevent pesticide deterioration; Nor can it be stored together with alkaline substances, ammonium bicarbonate, ammonium nitrate, etc.
7、 Prevent fire. Do not put pesticides and inflammables and explosives together, such as fumigant and gasoline, to prevent fire.
8、 Prevent freezing. Pay attention to antifreeze at low temperature, and keep the temperature above 1 ℃. The common method of antifreeze is to cover and keep warm with broken firewood, chaff shell or unused quilt.
9、 Prevent environmental pollution. A small amount of ineffective or residual pesticides shall not be dumped on the ground in the field, let alone into ponds, streams, rivers or wells. It can not be used after increasing the concentration at will. It should be deeply buried to avoid polluting the environment.
10、 Protect from the sun. Pesticides in brown bottles generally need to be kept away from light. Pesticides that need to be kept away from light, if exposed to light for a long time, will cause decomposition, deterioration and failure of pesticides. For example, the emulsifying performance of emulsion pesticides becomes worse and the efficacy decreases after exposure to the sun. Therefore, it must be kept away from sunlight.
11、 Prevent mixing. Pesticides are divided into acid, medium and alkaline. Acid products include dichlorvos, bromoxypyrethrin, etc; Neutral Triazophos, insecticidal, fenshijing, Ruijinte, etc; There are Bordeaux solution, stone sulfur mixture, agricultural streptomycin, thiabendazole copper, etc. The three pesticides with different properties shall be stored separately in winter (preferably more than 2m apart). The two agricultural drugs that cannot be used up shall not be mixed in one bottle to avoid failure.
