In some cases, an improved lithium-ion battery was added later, and components that can inhibit the active lithium element (such as cobalt, manganese, etc.) were added to make the lithium battery truly safe, efficient, and convenient, and the old lithium battery followed suit. Basically eliminated. As for how to distinguish them, it can be identified from the battery's logo. Lithium batteries are Li and lithium-ion batteries are Li-ion. At present, the so-called "lithium batteries" used in notebooks and mobile phones are actually lithium-ion batteries.
The basic structure of a modern battery includes three elements: a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte. As one type of battery, lithium ion batteries also have these three elements. Lithium-ion technology generally uses liquid or inorganic colloidal electrolytes, so a sturdy casing is needed to hold flammable active ingredients, which increases the weight and cost of the battery, and limits the size and flexibility of the shape. In general, the minimum thickness of a liquid lithium ion secondary battery is 6 mm, and it is more difficult to reduce it.
