Fluff white wax
White wax is a deciduous tree, up to 10 meters high, the branchlets are densely pubescent, the bark is dark gray and smooth, dioecious, and the flowers are heterogeneous.
Morphological characteristics:
White wax is a tall deciduous tree, 30-year-old trees up to 23.5m, diameter at breast height 64cm, odd-numbered pinnate compound leaves, 3-9 small leaves, mostly 5 branches, long oval apex tip, broad cuneate base, asymmetrical, leaves 1-8cm long, 2~2.7cm wide, with fine serrations on the edges and downy on the back of the leaves; dioecious, the female flowers are paniculate cymes, born on branchlets of last year, without petals, calyx 4--5 lobed, Male 2-3 pieces, very short, golden yellow anthers. The stigma of the female flower is two-lobed and pink when mature. It blooms first and then leaves. It blooms in mid-April. The flowering period is 1 week. The fruit is a single winged fruit with a length of about 2cm. The fruit is slightly longer than the fruit wing. The fruit wing extends downward to the upper part of the fruit. End emblem concave.
The seeds are elongated, about 1 cm long, with slightly pointed ends. They bear fruit in May and mature in mid-November.
