Choose good plants that grow sturdy and free from diseases and insect pests, and pick them when the samara changes from green to yellowish brown and the seeds are hard. If the seeds do not fall after maturity, the fruit branches can be cut off, the wings removed, and the sundries are removed. The seeds are packed in a container and stored in a sterilized, low-temperature, dry, and ventilated room.
