Physical and chemical properties: This strain contains mainly saturated fatty acids with C16 and C18. It is a white solid at room temperature, insoluble in water, and slightly soluble in benzene and carbon disulfide. Easily soluble in hot ethanol, non-toxic and tasteless. It has the general chemical properties of organic carboxylic acid.
