Shackle, one kind of rigging. Shackles commonly used in the domestic market are generally divided into three categories according to production standards: national standard, American standard, and Japanese standard; among them, the American standard is the most commonly used because it is widely used because of its small size and large carrying weight. According to the type, it can be divided into G209 (BW), G210 (DW), G2130 (BX), G2150 (DX). According to the type, it can be divided into bow type (Omega shape) bow type with female shackle and D type (U type or straight Type) D type with female shackle; according to the place of use, it can be divided into two types: ship and land.
Scope of application: Shackles are widely used in various industries such as electric power, metallurgy, petroleum, machinery, railways, chemicals, ports, mining, and construction.
Inspection standards:
1. It should be smooth and flat, free of defects such as cracks, sharp edges and overburning. Suspicious areas can be re-examined with a magnifying glass.
2. The shackle is tested with double the safe load as the test load. The shaft pin must not be permanently deformed and can rotate freely after being loosened. The increase in the length of the buckle body shall not exceed 0.25% or 0.5mm. Below 300 tons, 2 times the safe load is used as the test load for testing, and above 300 tons is 1.33 times the safe load as the test load.
3. The shackle can be sampled reliability test. The load is twice the test load. The shackle shall not break or deform the shackle to lose its bearing capacity.
4. The safety loads of the current shackles are approved by M (4) level.
5. The buckle body should be marked with strength level and safety load.
Material and use: The current better shackles are generally made of alloy steel, which has changed the history of ordinary carbon steel in the past. National standard shackles include general lifting shackles, marine shackles and ordinary shackles. The weight is heavier and the volume is large, and it is generally not installed in a location that is not frequently disassembled. When choosing a shackle, pay attention to the safety factor, generally 4 times, 6 times and 8 times. When the shackle is used, the rated load must be strictly observed. Excessive frequent use and overload use are not allowed.
