Chlorinated paraffin-52 is also called chlorinated alkane 52, chlorinated alkane-52, chlorinated alkane-52#, chlorinated wax-52, 52 type chlorinated paraffin, referred to as CP-52, molecular formula C15 H26Cl6.

Used as a plasticizer for chloroprene rubber, nitrile rubber, SBS and other adhesives and sealants. Chlorinated paraffin-52 plasticized silanized polyurethane (SPU) sealant has the highest elongation at break and the best elasticity. It can also be used as a flame retardant.
